Kiko Pangilinan is protecting Gloria. He wants to identify Senator Trillanes sources before considering an impartial investigation. The problem here is this. The prime suspect is the President, her General and national security adviser. There is no room for a preemptive action to happen by divulging witnesses. Identifying witnesses as a requisite for an investigation to happen will spell disaster. Kiko Pangilinan is derailing the issue. This person should not be voted again in office. He rides on Sharon Cuneta's popularity. Forget he once chaired the student council in UP. As the saying goes what is constant in this world is change. Kiko is not the Kiko that we knew before during our student days.
Now, the Zobel's are on hot seat. They are made as scapegoats. Imagine accepting the PNP findings means that their properties are not save enough, cannot be trusted, dangerous enough for a blast to occur when you buy their condominiums. If the Ayala's keep silent, people will be more suspicious on the properties they are selling. The only reason why the Ayala's will keep their mouth closed is they do not want to antagonizing Gloria and people in Malacanang. I hope the Ayala's will stand what is right. I sent a letter to Senator Trillanes last night. Hope he respond to me. Fil-Am community here in the US admire him. I hope he will be consistent all the way. I told him to follow the united front approach of "gathering the broadest range against the narrowest target". Escalating our campaign to expose and oppose Gloria's fascist and corrupt regime is badly needed. The good senator is of great help to us at this moment in time when we need to further expose Gloria and her cabal.

My classmate in college sent me a letter, a letter of support and solidarity. She was my crush for a long time. We were close friends though she never said yes to me. We took our political science at Silliman University back in the 80's. In college she was a provincial board member representing Kabataang Barangay while I was the chairperson of the League of Filipino Student's. She do listen to me intensely with my lectures when we were students while I intensely courted her. She pursued law and now is a lawyer while I finishing my masteral program and hopefully doctoral degree too here in the US. Reading her letters rekindled the lost feelings I had with her when we where in college-- but we have our own lives to live now, but still united with the vision of seeing our motherland free it self.

On Saturday, our talent show in church will be shown. We have a youth theater group from Solano College, and members of our church rendering some songs and dances. Last Saturday too we have our Halloween Party. Many kids enjoyed our haunted house with me as the werewolf.

My neighbor who is an African- American and also my classmate in the seminary is now reading a lot about Karl Marx and philosophy books. He asked me a lot of questions. He is a "born again" not in a religious sense like clapping Christians do but in political sense werein he now sees the forest and not only trees or in blunt language seeing imperialism connected to feudalism and bureaucrat capitalism. He asked me a lot about liberalism and Marxism. Yesterday, I gave him a reading on Mao Tze tung regarding about the dicusssion of liberalism and the topic "Combat Liberalism". Our discussion had gone deep that he started to ask the question of the existence of reformed churches, that such are. actually premised on "liberalism" as a school of thought. Many things were discussed. We had an ongoing discussion about state and religion and most importantly revolution. He has a sense that the church can be either function both ways, as a legitimizer of an unequal social set-up or can be a catalyst for change to happen.
Mike Arroyo feels he has immunity. He refused to appear at the Senate investigation. He said his doctors advised him not be there due to his heart conditions. Tonyo said it will be more stressful for him to always run away from investigations.
Lights side. Halloween is fast approaching. As a matter of fact we have had a Halloween party last Saturday. I find it weird though that here in the US people celebrate Halloween more than Christmas. For her Gloria has no respect to those victims. Callous enough Gloria uses money to appease people. Bribery is her means to survive even to the point of hatching a diversionary event for her to get away against being exposed.

Now the military is reversing its finding on the bombing incident to contain the public anger. The storyline floated in the media is this: “ Military not sure if it's C4 and probably an accident.” Now with this news slant, Zobel de Ayala must be kicking his ass. This insinuates that property administration of Ayala is to blame the death of 11 people.

Three Roman Catholic bishops had asked Gloria to resign. They include Bishop Tobias, Lagdameo and Iniquez. Bishop Lagdameo was clear in his statement that the bombing is a diversionary tactic from national issues that needs immediate resolution. The latest that I know is his statement countering Lito Atienza’s squid statement, that “bribery is a normal thing in the government”, meaning including Fidel’s presidential term. While correcting Lito's statement he also issued a stement reiterating his stand that Gloria is "irreplaceable". Now you can see seasoned politicians, Joe and Fidel using double talk. In simple political term this is political pragmatism adapting a wait and see attitude.

This morning I attended a poetry reading at the Holy grounds. I printed out the poems of Jose Maria Sison and read it in front of American students. I got the opportunity to introduce who Joma is and the cause he is fighting for. One seminarian who is a Filipino-Canadian also taking his masters program here at SFTS read Pablo Neruda’s poems.

I like the press statement of Bayan Muna yesterday. Bayan Munna explained the logical consequence of being a fake President, that the recourse so desperate in maintaining her in power is to give bribes to government congress representative.
I am taking note that since Gloria became the fake president of the Philippines by rigging the elections, using the loot money of Marcos which was intended to imdemnify Marcos human rights victim’s families, she uses three main ways to maintain her self in power. One is by using government’s money to bribe people, two, using the state coersive machinery to silence her critics and three making illusion for the public tobelieve, either going to Rome to take a picture with herself and the Pope or simply asking Ignacio Bunye his top lying huncho to send twisted statements in the media.
Just imagine giving half a million of money to a meeting of congressmen. Bishop Cruz is correct that Malacanang is not a Santa Claus. No doubt, Gloria is buying these congressmen. It does not mean that since she did not personally handed those money that she is not liable. Whatever rationalization is done, like for example the statement that says “well we did receive the money because these will be used for community projects” or “ to fund a government sponsored meeting” is still a flimsy reason. The point is this, by receiving the money, the act of bribery takes place. If it was not a bribe then it should go through proper channels for government auditors to audit. Handing 1,000 crisp bills in bundle inside a paper bags is a different thing. Now, this puts Governor Panlilio in hot waters. The only way out for the Governor is to expose this bribe, identify who handed the money to him, let Malacanang sign a receipt and where is it intended for.

Yesterday I saw again in the internet, Gloria’s campaign of reviving the call to change the Philippine constitution. After postponing to change the constitution due to intense public opposition, she never tires to revive it only to appease Joe de Bola (Jose De Venacia) and US interest as limitation of foreign investments will be eased out in the pages of the constitution. After she was put in a defensive mode with the ZTE deal, she wants now use this call of changing the constitution to reiterate to her masters that she will do anything to serve them and let her stay in power. While she will antagonize the upper house which many are against her by now she is confident after she has made sure that majority of the lower house representative are with her by giving them bribes plus promises of million worth infrastructure projects in their regions for them to pocket.
